These terms govern your use of Cvedo, a UK-based CV-analysis website and service ("we", "us"). By using Cvedo you agree to these terms.
Cvedo analyses a CV you provide and gives you a score, line-by-line suggestions, keyword analysis and advice. It is an informational tool to help you improve your own CV. It is not recruitment, careers or legal advice, and it does not apply for jobs on your behalf.
You must be at least 16 years old. You may only upload a CV that is your own, or one you have permission to use. You are responsible for the content you upload.
Because a report is digital content delivered immediately, by buying it you ask us to provide it straight away and accept that you lose the statutory 14-day right to cancel once delivery has begun. That said, we want you to be happy — if something went wrong (the analysis failed, or you were charged in error), contact us and we'll put it right or refund you. Nothing here affects your non-excludable rights under UK consumer law.
You keep all rights in your CV. The report we generate for you is yours to use. We keep all rights in the Cvedo website, software, branding and underlying method.
Cvedo helps make your CV clearer and easier for a UK ATS to read, but we do not and cannot guarantee interviews, job offers, or that your CV will pass any particular employer's system. The analysis is generated automatically and reviewed by us, but may still contain errors — review every suggestion and use your own judgement, and don't add anything to your CV that isn't true. The Service is provided "as is".
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost opportunities, jobs or earnings. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud), and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
We handle your personal data as set out in our Privacy notice.
We may suspend or stop providing the Service, or restrict access if these terms are breached. You can stop using Cvedo at any time.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
